Christ The Redeemer Lutheran Church

The CTR Quilters produce about 25 quilts a year.  The quilts have been donated to a number of needy organizations in the valley.  Recent projects: (7) were donated to Valley Lutheran High School Auction, (15) were donated to The Phoenix Rescue Mission for beds in their new women’s facility, (5) were donated to the Abused Women’s Shelter in Goodyear, and (4) were donated to the CTR School Spring Carnival.

• Quilters make baby quilts, lap quilts, and twin quilts.
• Quilters meet every month from September through May.
• Each quilt goes out with a prayer…here’s one:

Lord, bless each loving stitch we take

A warm and pretty quilt to make.

May those who use the quilts we sew

The saving Gospel learn to know,

And so be saved by grace through faith;

All this we ask for Jesus sake. Amen
